The Invisalign® Process
Invisalign® orthodontics straightens teeth using a series of clear, removable plastic aligner trays.
Your new smile begins with an Invisalign® consultation with Dr. Barker. During this visit, Dr. Barker will gather detailed orthodontic records using digital dental x-rays and 3D images to carefully plan orthodontic movement of your teeth.
Orthodontics just got easier with Cerec® Digital Impression Technology
Our office is equipped with Cerec® 3D digital impression technology so you don't have to deal with a mouthful of sticky impression material during your orthodontic treatment planning process.
Cerec® scanning technology provides Dr. Barker with a special intraoral camera and software that he uses to create 3-dimensional digital models of your teeth. Dr. Barker will use your digital dental records to communicate with the Invisalign® laboratory and calculate the required tooth movement for your straighter smile.
Your Preview of Expected Invisalign® Results
Invisalign® offers the unique advantage of allowing you to see the pre-planned tooth movement as part of the consultation process. Following your initial records visit, Dr. Barker meet with you again to share a 3D presentation of the anticipated ‘after’ results of Invisalign® treatment.
Convenient Visits to Magnolia Dental Spa for your Invisalign® Treatment
Once you begin your Invisalign® treatment, we will see you at our Athens dental office for a brief appointment every few weeks. During these visits, you will receive a new aligner and Dr. Barker will check your progress. It's that simple!
Invisalign® treatment times vary, generally most cases can be completed in 6-18 months. We also have convenient financing options available for your Invisalign® treatment.
The Benefits of Clear Orthodontics
Invisalign® clear aligners are easy to remove for eating and cleaning. Because they are clear, they are barely noticeable and can be worn during your daily routine. The aligners won't stop you from speaking or smiling, and there is no need to worry about uncomfortable brackets or wires as with traditional braces.
